The judge in the Paul McCartney/Heather Mills divorce case has released the judgment to the public. It can be found here: Judge’s Decision. I have included this post here, because Heather Mills almost made my top five potential celebrity BPs. Here are some juicy details from the judgement. The judge was not too kind to Ms. Mills:
But I regret to have to say I cannot say the same about the wife’s evidence. Having watched and listened to her
give evidence, having studied the documents, and having given in her favour every allowance for the enormous strain she must have been under (and in conducting her own case) I am driven to the conclusion that much of her evidence, both written and oral, was not just inconsistent and inaccurate but also less than candid. Overall she was a less than impressive witness.
….The proposed Amended Petition alleged a number of matters against the wife of verbal abuse, extreme jealousy, false accusations of violence, and that throughout the marriage the wife had shown a consistent inability to tell the truth.
….I assume for the purpose of this judgment only that in those interviews the wife lost her cool completely, went right over the top, and behaved in an erratic, out of control, and vengeful manner.
Ouch! OK, I took them out of context, but still – ouch!

I’m no expert but my own feeling is that Heather Mills is far more likely to suffer with Narcissistic Personality Disorder than BPD. I know there are many similarities but she did a TV interview on a show called “shrink Wrap” on british television a little while ago with an actual clinical Psychologist. If you saw this I think you would agree. I think its on youtube somewhere.
Sounds like classic BPD to me. And this synopsis mimics the divorce (after 30 years) from my BPD-Ex. She began losing her credibility with the judge from day one, on the Sworn financials, her statements, her explosive rants when confronted with incontrovertible truths, the lies, lies, lies, attempts to claim domestic violence/victimhood. Needless to say, BPD-Ex got her butt handed to her during both the 1st and 2nd go round (endless Motions and harassment). Naturally, none of the mess was her fault. “Somebody else” always “made her do it”. Sad.
Argh…. there’s nothing on this site that isn’t exactly as I’ve witnessed it 1st hand.
