Heather Mills and Paul McCartney’s Judgement Released
The judge in the Paul McCartney/Heather Mills divorce case has released the judgment to the public. It can be found here: Judge’s Decision. I have included this post here, because Heather Mills almost made my top five potential celebrity BPs. Here are some juicy details from the judgement. The judge was not too kind to Ms. Mills: But I regret to have to say I cannot say the same about the wife’s evidence. Having watched and listened to her give evidence, having studied the documents, and having given in her favour every allowance for the enormous strain she must have been under (and in conducting her own case) I am…

MySpace Suicide
I recently read about the suicide of 13-year-old Megan Meier, who, according to press reports hanged herself in her room after receiving “mean” and “insulting” messages from another MySpace user – one that was pretending to be her friend. ABC News Report of Suicide Story I decided to use this report to point out something important about this story. What her parents have gone through in this case is monstrously painful and I don’t, by any means, take up this tragedy to criticize her mother. I can only imagine the amount of pain and anguish her mother and father must be going through. I know if one of my children…

Amy Winehouse and Husband Battle it out
From BiPolar and BPD ramblings: Amy Winehouse and her husband basically got into a fist fight last night which left them both bloodied and bruised. Apparently Amy’s husband walked in on her cutting herself and about to do drugs with a prostitute when he intervened. The Daily Mail reports: At around 2.30am, said guests, the fight sounded like it had restarted – then Miss Winehouse was seen sprinting down the corridor to the lift, pursued by her badly bleeding husband. One guest who got into the lift to reception at the same time said they started shouting at each other. “Amy was in floods of tears. This guy was screaming…

A note on the word non
Hi, everyone. I have had a comment on why I use the word non (or nons) on this site when I clearly have a distaste for the word. I use it because of the prevalence of the word on the Internet as referring to people who are friends/family members of people with BPD. I don’t particularly like the word (as evidenced by several of my posts), but since this is an Internet blog and since I get most of my traffic through search engines, I have to use it to attract traffic. I figured out that over 18% of searches that refer Intenet users to this site (through google and…

Six Feet Under
Last night I watched a “Six Feet Under” re-run on HBO. I noticed that when Brenda is in the bookstore before she has reckless sex with the author of (I think the book was called) “The Myth of Romance””her eyes drift over the shelves past “I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me”. I believe the episode was “Someone Else’s Eyes” from season two of the show. No related posts.

Why “Stop Walking on Eggshells” is a Recipe for Divorce
Many people when they find out about BPD, read “Stop Walking on Eggshells”. Just about everyone in the “non” community has read it. I read it AND read the workbook. At the time I thought, “Yes! Someone who understands!” I thought, “Finally, a method for dealing with my wife’s crazy behaviors.” Well, folks, I was wrong. This book is about nons and ways for the nons to handle the BP’s behavior. Unfortunately, for the BPs, it does nothing to help them heal. In fact, the idea of setting limits and boundaries for BPs only serves to piss them off more. Let me tell you why: BPD is a disorder in…
