Coming back from the darkness

Hello, all. I know I haven’t posted anything here in a while. There is a big reason for this. It’s not that I didn’t have anything to post – I did and do and will post over the next few days and weeks some of the posts I’ve not posted. It’s that my old hosting provider decided to no longer support the configuration that I was using and I couldn’t upgrade to a secure version of the software. They discontinued the product without informing me or giving me a true upgrade path. (Technical note: they didn’t upgrade PHP, which made me unable to upgrade my software. Because of this I haven’t been able to post effectively.)

I have switched providers as of today! I haven’t checked to see how many subscribers have given up on me… I hope I can win you back if you did. I just wanted to say “sorry” and I have been working pretty hard to get onto another provider and to get everything back up and running. I didn’t realize how large this site was until I had to upgrade. It was something of a bear!

I have about 3-4 comments pending on the old site. I will copy those and post them here. Sorry about that. If you commented on my site since Saturday, the comments are not yet on the new version.
