A British woman’s battle with mental health issues has gone viral after a video she uploaded that reveals her fight was viewed by millions of people.

A staggering 2.3 million people have so far viewed Kira Hollis holding up a series of cards that reveal the pretty 27-year-old is locked in a battle with borderline personality disorder.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the mum-of-one has been left stunned by the support which came after she uploaded the video to her Facebook page just eight days ago.

Despite Kira not speaking in the video, she explains the powerful clip is a way of getting her message across to encourage more people to start talking about mental illness.

“It’s been amazing, and so many people have been sharing their story,” said Kira who is a personal trainer.

“I was just walking home listening to music, and I was thinking about how I could explain what goes on in my head and I had an idea to do the video.

“I have had thousands of messages of support since posting it – I can’t keep up with all of them.
