Ruth,

I wonder where you get the idea that RhoGAM causes BPD. My wife is Rh- and got a RhoGAM shot in each of her pregnancies. All of my children are RH+ and only one of them (out of 4) exhibits emotional dysregulation. Of my children 3 of 4 are A+ and the other one is O+ (the emotional one interestingly enough). Do you have links to studies that show this correlation?

If an Rh-Neg mom is carrying a Rh-Neg fetus, she will often receive a RhoGAM shot during her pregnancy. This is typically done WITHOUT verfiying the medical necessity of this injection.

There IS a test that will accurately determine the blood type of a developing baby, but this is rarely done. Also, if said female is having a child with another Rh-Neg male, then there is no need AT ALL for a RhoGAM shot, but doctors and medical pros are STILL administering these shots to Rh-neg women anyway.

THE RESULTS? Rh-Neg kids born with major development problems, including BPD.
